Artificial Intelligence is still a relatively new technology, but has seen significant improvements and growth over the last decade. Especially with the recent success of ChatGPT, AI tools have gained more public interest than ever before. So let’s take a look at the benefits of AI and the tools you can use right now to improve your workflow.

AI tools getting more attention

ChatGPT has shown a lot of people the potential of AI powered tools. This language model, developed by OpenAI, has proven to be very good and versatile, hence its popularity. It can be used for text generation, including content creation, and has been trained on a large corpus of data from the web. With ChatGPT you can create written content that is relevant, engaging and of high quality. People have found dozens of useful ways in which ChatGPT can help with their work. Whether it’s writing an article, helping to create SEO landing page briefs, or even helping to write Python code.

Additionally, it will soon offer a paid premium version called ChatGPT Plus. With this service, users get priority access, increased speed and additional features.

OpenAI is partly owned by Microsoft, which recently increased its investment in OpenAI by a rumored 10 billion dollars. Microsoft also announced that it has integrated ChatGPT into its Bing search engine, which is putting Google under pressure.

Google vs. Microsoft

With the popularity of ChatGPT and its partnership with Microsoft, Google knows that it can be a serious threat. Just recently, Google announced its rival to ChatGPT called Bard. Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote in a blog post that Bard is already being tested with "trusted users" and will be available to a wider audience in a few weeks.

Bard is a conversational AI service powered by LaMDA technology. Supported by large language models, Bard is able to understand and process natural language to provide answers to your questions. It also draws on a vast pool of information from the web to enrich its responses, seeking accurate and up-to-date information.

However, the accuracy of Bard has already been under scrutiny since the short sneak peek that previewed Bard contained a false statement. This was quickly discovered and picked up by the world's media.

They quickly found that Bard’s last suggestion was wrong. It’s clearly not perfect, which may be one of the reasons why it hasn't been released yet. However, it is fair to say that all AI solutions can suffer from this, as they have no sense of right and wrong. ChatGPT can also make false statements when writing sentences, something that is logical to an AI model may not be completely accurate.

The Google stock plummeted after the mistake was spotted, it lost 100 billion dollars of market evaluation over this debacle. Apparently people are skeptical about Bard and its upcoming fight with ChatGPT.

Should you use AI tools?

AI tools can offer several benefits to streamline your workflow. The most important benefit that AI tools can offer is increased speed and time savings. They can automate many of the routine tasks involved in content creation or design processes, such as text or images, saving you time and allowing you to focus on other important tasks. They can also create content much faster than humans, making it possible to produce large amounts of high-quality content in a short period of time.

Depending on your current work, the quality could even be improved. AI tools use advanced algorithms to analyze existing content and generate new content that is relevant and of high quality. This can help improve the overall quality of the content produced, making it more engaging and relevant to the target audience.

By automating many of the routine tasks involved in content creation, AI tools can help reduce the costs associated with producing high-quality content. This is particularly important for businesses and organizations that need to produce large volumes of content on a regular basis.

Now, it's worth saying that AI relies on a very large amount of data, so sometimes the content it creates may not be perfect. But with a few tweaks here and there, you can get a finished piece of content a lot faster than if you did it all yourself.
